Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift Clean House at AMAs

Headlines around the world today are echoing the news that Michael Jackson made "award show history" last night by posthumously earning four American Music Awards in the five categories in which he was nominated.

The biggest award of the night, however, "Artist of the Year," was reserved for nineteen-year-old Taylor Swift.

"To even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson, who we will miss and love forever, is an unimaginable honor," said Swift of her monumental achievement.

Losing to Taylor Swift in only one category, Michael Jackson was also named favorite male artist in the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories.

Michael Jackson's collection of greatest hits was similarly awarded the distinction of best album in both categories.

Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine Jackson, was on hand to accept the AMAs, sporting an iconic glittery white glove in memory of the late King of Pop.

"The message that Michael had, will live on forever," Jermaine Jackson said.

"He saw good in everyone and he wanted everyone to do good. He always started with love."

And last night at the American Music Awards, Michael Jackson was shown plenty of love himself.
