New Moon has attracted both new and old Twilight fans alike to theaters in record numbers.

But along the way, a few - shall we say - less than "stable" fans have also emerged. And at a recent screening of New Moon, one such unfortunate example was illustrated for the whole world to see.

An ABC affiliate in Michigan broke the story that a teenage girl was watching New Moon at a Norton Shores theater when she was harassed and bitten on the neck by someone.

The wannabe vampire, who managed to evade authorities, left the teen girl shaken, although she is fine and sustained no injuries.

No word as to whether the vampire at large is on "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob."

New Moon, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, is playing now at theaters everywhere.
