Schwarzenegger: "I am not going to run for anything else"
Terminator turned Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger will call it quits at the end of his term next year. California law prohibits him from seeking a third term and Arnold says:
"I have never labeled myself as a politician, so I am not going to run for anything else," Schwarzenegger told reporters in Milan on Tuesday.
It hasn't been easy for Schwarzenegger. He inherited a financial mess, started to get things headed in the right direction then the housing bubble burst. California has been especially hard hit. Couple that with the nasty political environment we find ourselves in and who can blame Arnold for wanting to get out? California faces another fiscal crisis which will keep the Governor busy:
The governor said he will spend the next year trying to solve problems including a projected $21 billion dollar budget shortfall through next year.
No word on his future plans, but could he return to acting? Might another Terminator movie be in his future?
