Friday, baseball hall of fame manager Tony La Russa was seen spending time on Madison Ave. in New York City, a couple hours before first pitch of Game 3 of the World Series. The three-time World Series champion dugout boss (’89 A’s, ’06 & ’11 Cardinals) now serves as the Chief Baseball Officer of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

La Russa retired with an outstanding 2,728-2,365 managerial record.

2015 World Series Scene: Jim Leyland

Friday, retired MLB manager Jim Leyland was spotted walking down Park Ave. in New York City, five hours prior to the start of Game 3 of the World Series. The former Pirates, Marlins, Rockies and Tigers skipper (managed the 1997 Marlins to world title) is close friends with Mets manager Terry Collins.
