So...back in the day I met Method Man at Def Jam Records when they were on Varick St. in Manhattan.  I used to go up there with an associate of mine and just hang out.  We used to sit on the Everlast couch in the lobby for like 15-20 minutes until finally they would let us in.  We had an in because my compadre networked his way in there.  We used to give employees names like Dennis Miller, or the Phillipino girl we both wanted to get with.  Anyway, eventually we ran into Method Man in the office.  If I remember correctly he was rolling a blunt in the middle of the day.  My amigo introduced him to me and I wasn't used to meeting celebrities at that time.  So...I said something really stupid.  I said is it weird seeing yourself in the movies???  He was taken back by that comment by the way I said it and he replied No...I know what I look like.  My friend soon played a beat and he kicked the verse from the Genius album.  A bystander recorded it with his video camera.   Method Man seemed fine, cool, and collected.  Later that week I think I saw the footage at my friend's dorm room at NYU.  We laughed at his reaction to what I said.  The only thing you could do is laugh at yourself when something like that happens.  All in all it was nice meeting Jonny Blaze, the Ticalion Stalion, Hot Nicks.  I just wish I didn't come off like an American Idol reject.

I liked this
