When I was 13, my brother and I went to watch the 49ers' spring training camp at University of the Pacific. During their practice, some fans on our side of the field held signs and shouted out supportive Mormon lingo like "LDS CTR" (Latter-day Saints Choose the Right) to get his attention. After the practice, he took the time to walk the whole way accross the large field to our section to sign autographs and chat. He even signed my football. He seemed very kind and down-to-earth.
