Successful Hip Hop artist Baby Bash has always had a huge following in Central California, so he had come by the radio station a few times. After talking with him, I found out that he's a huge WWE fan, just like I am. So, we made plans to meet up at the next wrestling event, which was gonna be in San Jose.

We both rolled up to the arena, and picked up a couple ringside tickets that Bash's connection hooked up. We saw about half of the show from our killer seats before getting up, talking to security, and making our way backstage!

It was the first time I'd seen the backstage area in person. It was a pretty surreal experience to see those larger-than-life superstars walking around going over their upcoming matches. Then, Chavo Guerrero of the world-famous Guerrero wrestling family came out to say hi to us. I had met Chavo before (another great story I'll write about another time) and he was one of the coolest cats I've ever met in my life.

Backstage, he asked me about my family, the job, he was genuinely interested. He hung out talking for a few more minutes, took a photo with us, and made his way to the ring for his televised match.

After the show, we posted up in the parking lot of the arena and talked some more, before rolling out.

A ridiculously cool experience with the homie, Baby Bash, and Chavo Guerrero.
