Before heading into the All-Star FanFest, during the Anaheim All-Star Game, I happened to walk right past Cincinnati great Barry Larkin.  Larkin was wearing a suit and MLB Network credential. Clearly, he was getting ready to appear on TV for his baseball analyst duties.  I have really enjoyed Larkin’s work with MLB Network.  He appears to bring the same level of preparation, intelligence and hard work to TV, as he did during his long and highly successful career with the Reds.  Pretty cool that a guy can play his entire career for his hometown team, including winning a World Series and then seamlessly transition into life after baseball.  Larkin is a great example of doing things the right way.  It was great seeing him doing his thing in Anaheim.
