The day after Thanksgiving, my fiancé and I went down to San Diego for a night of rest and relaxation. Having lived in San Diego for two years after college, the town holds a special place in my heart. I took her to Pacific Beach to show her my old apartment. It was a little studio right on the beach. After showing her the apartment, we took a quick walk down the boardwalk along the beach and I saw a really tall guy on a bicycle stopped talking to his friend. I looked again, and it was Bill Walton. Of course!!! Bill Walton is the ultimate San Diego guy!!! He is probably the most famous athlete residing in San Diego besides Tony Gwynn. Anyway, the fun loving Walton was out riding his bike on a beautiful sunny Southern California day. I mean, what else would you expect him to do, right?
