Bubba Sparxx was known mostly for his biggest hit "Ugly" at the time he came to the 93.7 BZZ studios in late 2003. He was signed to Beatclub a label founded by Timbaland.

After the success of Bubba's first CD, he went back into the studio with Timbaland and cranked out "Deliverance". He was on a promo tour promoting the release date of "Deliverance". I remember us recording an interview to be played later in the day. He was really cool, and actually made a crack at our competition (96.1 Kiss) because their DJ faked a fight between Bubba and him and played back later in the day. Bubba didn't know why anyone would want to do that, and talked about it, I left that part out of the on air interview though.

He was cool, and stayed cool when I met him later in 2006. When I find that pic, I will post that story as well.
