Garth Brooks is officially coming out of retirement as of a show at Wynn Casino in Las Vegas tonight (12.11.09).

Garth was an hour late for the press conference, but that hour was worth it.  He walked into the fancy ballroom at the fanciest hotel in Las Vegas with a ball cap and jeans on.  You could tell he was nervous, excited, and most importantly ready to do this music thing again.  Steve Wynn promised Garth his life would not change much from the life he currently lives in Oklahoma.  Steve bought Garth a jet and this weekend is a prime example on why Garth Brooks IS the family man he claims to be.  He told us he was playing a show tonight, leaving in the morning to jet off to his daughter's soccer game, then coming back that night for his show.

Garth is a good ole country boy, that loves to play music.  He is a proud father that constantly talks about how his wife Trisha Yearwood compliments him and make him a better person.

You can watch the full interview HERE.

Also, here is a link to the press conference I attended. You will get a good idea of what to expect at an "acoustic Garth Brooks show". Click here.

Speaking of gift, it is said to be that one of probably the most frustrating gifts to receive is a gift card you will never use. I hate opening an envelope and finding a piece of plastic that will likely stay in a bedroom drawer untouched until it expires; and somebody actually spent their own cash on your wasted piece of plastic. What is worse is whenever you get a card for someplace that needs a membership and you also don't even have one! Now, there is a solution; gift card exchange at cardhub.com. You can take you unwanted gift cards and try to sell or trade them for a gift card you might actually use to a store you may actually shop at!
