Gorilla Zoe ran up in the studio randomly one day. He's such a friend to the station and the show that he was able to do that!! Gorilla zoe came in with the entire family of Bad Boy South; Big block, Rico, City, and a couple others. He was really pleasent and easy to interview. Zoe talked about his new single "Lost" featuring Lil Wayne. He explained how much the song meant to him because of what its meaning. He said, "sometimes people do get caught up and lost on the road to success and need that help from others". In the middle of his sentence I couldnt help but to notice the chain on his neck. He carried a big thick charm with a gorilla imprint..sick! The name of his album was, dont feed the animals...go figure!! I love the entire animal concept and all the gifts he showered us with from t-shirts to cds ;) I also loved the sound of his voice, it was so harsh and like I told him in spanish it was ronca(rough). I wish I wouldve had the chance to speak with him longer to get to know him better but my show was ending and we had no time. A few months later I ran into Gorilla Zoe at a local club in Columbus GA where he was going to be performing. Before he got on stage to perform he noticed me and told me to come over with my friends. He simply asked me whats up and how I've been then poured patron shots for everyone sitting in VIP. We kicked it some more about his nationality. He's part italian like me,..who knew?! After chatting for a minute with his manager he got up on stage and did his thing while we all watched from the VIP area. Everyone loved him!!
