Friday, the NBA Players Association (NBPA) held a meeting at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Los Angeles Lakers point guard Derek Fisher serves as the president of the NBPA. The five-time NBA champion has been front and center in the NBPA’s on going and sometimes contentious negotiation with NBA commissioner David Stern, during the league’s current work stoppage.
After spending much of his summer attending meetings in New York City, the Calabasas, California resident was back home in LA addressing a large contingent of NBA players regarding the state of the labor stalemate.
Take a look at ifollosports.com original video of a well dressed Fisher walking from the three-hour players' meeting to an awaiting press conference on the other side of the famous hotel.
