Monday evening, iFolloSports.com was on hand for a charity event featuring Minnesota Timberwolves forward Derrick Williams and center Greg Stiemsma, with both players appearing at an Arby's restaurant, in the Twin Cities suburb of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.
Per the above iFolloSports.com original video, the two Timberwolves served customers, for roughly an hour, after receiving a crash course from restaurant management. A portion of the sales went to the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation and the Arby's Foundation’s partnership with Share our Strength and the No Kid Hungry Campaign.
Both players drew a nice crowd, with Williams being the more known of the two. The Arizona alum was selected by the Timberwolves with the second overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
With hopes of finally ending their eight-year playoff drought, the Timberwolves open up the regular season, Friday night against the Sacramento Kings.
