I was eating at Bandera Restaurant in the Brentwood section of LA, with my wife and another couple.  The bathroom is situated in the back corner of the restaurant.  As I’m making a trip to the facilities I see the great Dustin Hoffman having a meal with a group of three other people around his age.  While being one of the greatest actors of all time, Hoffman is not the most imposing fellow one has ever seen.  He was pretty slight of stature as a matter of fact. Even smaller than I would have pictured him to be.  I didn’t get a chance to speak with him, but it was certainly cool to share dinner with one of the greats.
