I have followed Toby's career since 1995. I have watched his triumps and pit falls and have experienced his success.

My first meeting with Toby was back in 2001, and again 2005 where I held a fund raiser for St. Jude Children's Hospital, raising $1200.  The child who had been treated at St. Jude's, Corey for an inoperatable brain tumor requested to meet his hero Toby Keith. Through the help of Toby's Warriors, I took him to his concert and I got Corey back stage to meet Toby. Toby was so gracious, spent quality time with Corey and not only took pictures with him but autographed his Oklahoma Sooners shirt for him. The man is amazing. This year, at his concert at Darien Lake NY in Sept. I joined the Volunteers for the USO through Fort Drum NY, I held a fund raiser before his concert and was honored to go back stage and present him with a bronze statue of a cowboy carrying an American flag on a horse and a plaque of recognition for his support for our US Troops.

What an amazing experience it was for me, for I admire Toby in so many ways. But at this meeting I got the opportunity to "thank" him personally. See, in 1994 I lost my 17 year old son, my father and mother all to a very tragic car accident. It was l ife altering for me. If not for Toby and his music, I probably wouldn't be here today. I love what Toby stands for, his values, his beliefs, and how he inspires me through the words of his music.

Toby's music lives in my home. My admiration for Toby is strong and I will always be a strong supporter of his.
