was just another female country singer, but with her first album, quickly started to set herself a part from the rest..when I had the LUCKY opportunity to meet her.

In November of 1995, Hill was part of the 3 day event known as the Crystal River Jam. Although the jam had an awesome 3 day line-up, I wanted to see Faith Hill.

 The weather was cold, I had a heavy jacket on as I watched the artists perform. After Faith was done, this guy comes walking by, and saw me wearing a Faith Hill t-shirt, ball cap etc. This guy asked if I'd like to come backstage and meet her & have a picture taken with her. I asked who he was..he opened his coat sane had on shirt with the host radio station logo on the pocket. Turns out, it was Tom Rivers from WQYK radio Tampa.

Tom and I walked to the backstage area, and Faith came over. Faith asked the usual questions..did you like the show? Are you having fun? etc.. but she made eye contact and kept it while chatting with me.

After a few minutes of chatting, she thanksed me coming to see AND for buying the merchandise. Faith asked if I'd like her to sign the pass I was now wearing.

After all that she says.. I want go see the next performer. The next performer was Tim McGraw.
