With celebrity encounters you have to becareful.  I have said it time and time again, you can catch a celebrity one day and they are super nice and cool and will sign your arm and take a photo for your facebook page and all your friends to be jealous of.  Or you can catch em and they will be having a bad day and just not in the mood to be any kind of social.

The first time I met Fall Out Boy, it was the later.

We held this big promotion on the radio station I worked for in Orlando called Fall Out With Fall Out Boy.  It was held at a skydiving simulator.  Essentially, they teach you how to skydive in this man made wind tunnel.  It is actually pretty fun.  However, Fall Out Boy showed up to the appearance late and wanted nothing to do with trying this with the listeners who were anxious to meet their favorite band.  I felt terrible for these listeners, but it was what it was.

I don't like to judge artists based on one meeting, so I will tell you after meeting them after a show a few years later, Pete Wentz had us backstage as his guests and we did shots of Grey Goose with the band...they couldn't find cups so we all just swigged it from the bottle like a bunch of frat kids.  They were cool that night, to me. But left a few fans dissapointed the first time we met em.  It was kind of a bummer.
