I flew from Cleveland, OH where I lived at the time to Hartford, CT.  I met up with friends then drove to Boston for a friends bachelor party that evening.

My friend Rick and I had some time to kill before driving up north, so we decided to bet on some ponies at a local OTB (Off Track Betting.)  We had no luck and didn't win anything if I recall correctly.  After that, Rick who was program director of a radio station in Hartford says "Hey, wanna meet Tommy Lee."  He was at the radio station cutting some lines for a co-hosting bit he was doing where he would take over the radio station and play is favorite songs.  It sounded pretty awesome to hear a pop radio station playing stuff you'd be more likely to hear on Tommy's ipod.

We walked in just as he was wrapping up recording and snapped the photo you see.  Tommy is all tatted up and the epitomy of what a rock star exudes.  He has that bad boy confidence about him that I'm sure makes him desirable by the ladies.  It's probably what drew Pam Anderson to him back in the day.

It was a short encounter with Tommy who seemed cool enough.  When was the last time one of your friends just said, "hey, let's meet Tommy Lee."
