Ever year in North Carolina after March Madness concludes a group of ACC Seniors play against local high school or small college teams in what they call The Barnstorming Tour.  I saw it in the paper and finagled my way in as an honorary coach and my friend and fellow morning show co-host as the PA announcer for the game.  This years team included recently crowned NCAA tournament champion Tarheel Seniors Tyler Hansbrough, Danny Green, and Bobby Frasor.  Like just about everyone else in attendance was most excited to see Hansbrough play.

I am a huge Tarheel fan so for me to get to be on the bench with them and talk with them was awesome.  The tour let us do a few cool things like Emceeing the 3 point contest with Tyler, the Slam Dunk Contest, and I had an idea to have a dance off between my friend/co-worker Josh and North Carolina's Danny Green.

When I met Tyler he was like you saw on TV a little bit shy but he gave me a high five and had a good laugh watching Danny Green dance against Josh.

The game was great, Hansbrough threw down a bunch of dunks including a 360.  After the game we got to go back to the "players lounge" and mingle a little bit.  For me it was the highlight of my year to get to sit with with players from the 2009 National Championship Team, meet my favorite Tarheel that year Tyler Hansbrough and get to do it in front of 6,000 fans, most of which were fans of our show!
