When Travy and the Gym Class Heroes rolled through our Orlando studios a few years ago I quite frankly, didn't know what to expect.

The band literally looked like they just woke up and were kinda out of it.  Once the mics went on however, it was a whole different story.  What I love about professional artists is that on off switch.  They recognize it's go time and time to bring their A game.  That's gotta be the hard part about being a singer, just always having to be at your best.

We visited a large array of topics including the rumor that at the time Travy was dating Katy Perry.  He was cool about it, while some artists expect you to leave their personal life out of interviews.  They say it's out of respect.  I'm sorry, but I believe if you have chosen the path of fame and fortune, not that it gives others the right to scrutinize your decisions, but it doesn't hurt to ask since it is what everyone is interesting in knowing.  I was surprised how chill he was with the question and they even did a few acoustic song sets.  One song they were not pleased with so did it again in order for it to come out sounding awesome for playback on the air.  Overall Gym Class Heroes earned my respect and turned me onto their music.
