Trevor Plouffe is the third baseman for the Minnesota Twins, playing in his second full MLB season (played 22 games in 2010 to begin his career). After getting off to a slow start in 2012, Plouffe has caught fire since the middle of May. Entering Friday night’s game, Plouffe is tied for the Twins team lead with 15 big flies, including a very impressive 10-homerun output in the month of June alone.
With his power surge and laid back California attitude, the Los Angeles area native has become very popular with Twins Fans. Wednesday night, Plouffe and Twins pitcher Anthony Swarzak appeared at Champp’s Americana restaurant, in the Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, Minnesota.
The ballplayers did some bartending, took part in a Q&A session and signed autographs.
Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Plouffe and Swarzak interacting with the large group of people in attendance. Both players were very cordial, as they mixed it up with Twins fans during the event.
