If there is one thing I cannot stand about the music industry is that some things come down so last minute I don't have time to prepare.  There is nothing worse than listening to an interview when you know the host is completely unprepared.

By prepared I mean I had no questions ready to ask Omarion when I found out he was coming into our radio station that day to record an interview.  In fact, I found out while at the Wendy's drive thru.

The one thing I have learned is you MUST roll with the punches and be honest.  I told Omarion straight up that I was unprepared for him, so I went on my little knowledge I had about him and his MTV show at the time. 

He was launching a new album in conjunction with Bow Wow it was a double release.  I allowed Omarion to choose some of his fav songs and take over the radio station.  If there is one common universal language it is music and it is something everyone can relate to.  I have to say Omarion didn't take offense to me being unprepared, in fact he helped roll wih the punches if anything.

I had a good time with Omarion, the kind of guy I could see you kicking it with on a Friday night...has a cool vocab and uncanny quick witt.
