What has made writing for a magazine more awesome than being on the radio for me is the control I have over who I interview. I got to interview alot of cool people in radio, but how many of them were people that I was a hardcore fan of...not many. So far writing for the magazine has afforded me the opportunity to interview tons of people that I feel are sweet.

The other day I wrapped up an interview with someone who I am a huge fan of, Doug Benson. Doug did a documentarty called "Super High Me," which was like Super Size Me, but with pot. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and check it out! You might also know Doug from his work on VH1's best week ever! He is a hilarious comedian who deserves his success.

Talking with Doug on the phone was like catchin' up with an old high school buddy. He's a great guy, and super appreciative of his fans and success. If you are a fan of alternative comedians like Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Sarah Silverman, and Zach Galifianakis, you will love Doug Benson. See him live, he is constantly touring!!
