Ok that makes it sound like we spent Valentine's day together or something.  Reality is, the lead singer of Bush was launching into his foray as a solo artist.

We got to meet Gavin prior to his show at Hard Rock Live in Orlando.  It was a good time mixed with radio/record folks and friends.  When taking a photo with Gavin, he was a man of few words.  He didn't come off shy as he came off like I find most English people I meet.  Just reserved and wait for you to speak.  I just wondered how he would come off to one of his fans.

I was also caught wondering how many times he is asked about his famous wife Gwen Stefani.  She left her group No Doubt for a hiatus to launch her own solo career much like Gavin was doing.  The comparisons were uncanny to his famous wife!

I didn't find Gavin to be overly friendly and found him to be a very hard read as to what he was thinking/feeling.  It was overall kind of an odd meeting.  Kind of disappointing because I am a big fan of his music with Bush.  We stuck around for his show which was actually a really good one.
