Since it only rains a few times a year in Los Angeles, every time precipitation falls from the sky, it’s a pretty big deal. Sunday was one of those days.

In addition to dealing with the traffic snarls that seem to accompany every so called storm that hits the area, my day also involved driving past the very tall and noticeable Jalen Rose. The longtime NBA player now spends his time serving as an analyst for ESPN. The Detroit native also owns an LA based production company named Three Tier Entertainment.

With no NBA basketball being played at the moment, Rose has a lot more time to dedicate to his production company. As a result, he is almost certainly spending lots of time in LA, as opposed to being near the ESPN studios in Bristol, Connecticut.

Rose was standing on trendy Third Street, a few blocks east of the Beverly Center. He was dressed casually, sporting a hometown Detroit Tigers hat. The son of the Midwest seemed to be a lot less bothered by the rain than many of the other passersby, as Rose stood outside waiting to greet a car that had just arrived.
