John Wall is the point guard for the Washington Wizards, playing in his third NBA campaign. Wall played one season at Kentucky, under coach John Calipari, before becoming the unanimous number one overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
Since entering the league, Wall has posted a career average of 16 points and 8 assists per game. Unfortunately for Wall and the Wizards, the team from our nation’s capital has been at or near the bottom of the Association, during the North Carolina native’s tenure as a professional. Currently, Washington possesses a 19-40 record.
Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Wall signing some autographs on Wednesday, outside the Graves 601 Hotel, in downtown Minneapolis. This scene took place a few hours before the Wizards 87-82 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In that contest, Wall totaled 19 points and 7 assists.
In addition to this very recent Wall sighting, NBA fans can also view two other iFolloSports.com original stories, featuring Wall interacting with fans. The first encounter occurred during the 2011 NBA lockout, before a Long Beach (CA) summer league game.
The second example took place just a few months ago in Los Angeles, when Wall gave an iFolloSports.com contributor an autographed pair of older Reebok sneakers. Wall is currently affiliated with Adidas.
