The day after the Taylor Swift encounter, I still couldn’t sleep.  I got a text from another one of my buddies early in the morning, Crystal.  Crystal flew in from Dallas to be with her friend in Orlando.  She asked me if I was going to go meet Kellie Pickler that day.  Kellie had just opened for Taylor the night before, and I’m a huge fan.  My response?  “I wasn’t planning on it, but...now that you mention it…”

She gave us the information and I woke up Justin.
     “Hey, want to go meet Kellie Pickler?”
                “Okay.”
    
We drove only 8 miles to get to the Best Buy in Orlando.  We stood in line for a little under two hours and got to meet Kellie!  She made the albums out personally to us and even took the time for pictures as well.  What a great 24-hours!  We told her how we saw her in Dallas six months ago, we saw her the night before and how we were going to be at the next show in Dallas in five more days (we are concert junkies).  The next day, I tweeted Kellie my picture with her and she responded saying she remembered me!  Just last night (April 18), Kellie started to follow me on Twitter.  Consider us best friends.
