Tuesday night, iFolloSports.com was at Best Buy’s Mall of America store (Bloomington, MN), where Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Kevin Love made an autograph signing appearance. Love, fresh off scoring 13 points and grabbing 9 boards, in the West’s 163-155 loss at the 2014 NBA All-Star Game, interacted with fans, while signing his signature for a huge group of supporters.
The All-Star starter has had a phenomenal season, averaging 25.8 points and 13.2 rebounds per game. But, as of Wednesday, his Timberwolves are only 25-28, six games out of a playoff spot. With Minnesota’s ongoing struggles, Love always seems to be in the news regarding speculation that he will leave Minnesota (contract expires after next season), perhaps departing for the Lakers or Knicks. As we speak, Love is the subject of trade rumors involving the Lakers and Mavericks.
Despite the persistent talk, Love sang a different tune, during an interview for the March issue of GQ.
“People think it's so far-fetched that I would stay in Minnesota and I'm not s------- on the Lakers, but we have the better team, the better foundation. I'm having fun," explained the UCLA alum.
