I was in Maui on a family trip about ten years ago shortly after the Wolves got knocked out of the first round of the playoffs (again) and I was walking on the Maui boardwalk with my Dad. All of the sudden we saw this big bald head about three blocks up about 7 feet in the air and I said to my Dad that is KG, albeit about 6,000 miles from 'Sota. He said no way so we started walking towards and him and low and behold it was Da Kid (back when he was the easy going likeable young NBA star, not the thug grizzly vet he's turned into now).

Anyway, we followed KG and his OBF (Original Block Family, again, a group of friends from growing up that KG kept close early in his career, before the fame went to his head) and of course "Bugs" was right there with him.

We went up to him in a Rolex store and introduced ourselves as big Howl Wolves fans and he shook my hand, gave me the half hug and said he appreciated our support. He urged me "not to spend too much money in this store dog" and we went on our way, as big of fans as ever of KG.
