In the week leading up to Wrestlemania each year, the WWE puts on many events for the fans to interact with the WWE Superstars. When Wrestlemania 23 came to Detroit in 2007, the only WWE Superstar I wanted to meet was “The Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley.

Foley was doing a book signing for his latest book, “The Hardcore Diaries” at a local Kmart. The signing was from 4-6pm and I got there around 2:30PM. There were 45 people in front of me.  Foley arrived and the line began to move. When I reached the front of the line he was very friendly and conversational. We chatted about his story in the book about when AC/DC was the musical guest on SNL when The Rock hosted.  He was shocked at the size of a band member’s junk. (Get the book for the whole story) He signed my book and took a picture and I was on my way.

I have met a lot of pro wrestlers over the years and they all have been nice to talk to. After meeting Foley that day, he moves to the top my list. If you have the chance to meet him, make sure you do.
