Oregon wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei exploded onto the national scene during the Ducks 45-38 victory over Wisconsin in the 2012 Rose Bowl. The senior pass catcher grabbed eight balls for 158 yards and two touchdowns. These eye-popping numbers earned Tuinei offensive player of the game honors.
The 6-5, 215 lbs. senior put together a solid regular season, totaling 48 catches and 10 touchdowns.
Tuesday, the day after Tuinei’s “Hollywood” premiere, the Indiana native was spotted in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. This West LA property has been Oregon’s home base throughout Rose Bowl week.
Per this ifollosports.com original video, Tuinei was seen interacting with other members of the Oregon program. The group of Ducks paused for a photo with fans making their way through the luxury hotel. Shortly after this effort, Tuinei walked outside into the California sunshine.
Did anyone have a better start to 2012 than Lavasier Tuinei? His first three days of the year have been as good as anyone anywhere.
