Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $2.3 billion. While Cuban’s closets are probably filled with hangers and hangers of top-of-the-line suits, much of the time, his public clothing getup involves jeans, a Mavs T-shirt and sneakers.

Tuesday, per the above iFolloSports.com original photos, Cuban was spotted at the Ritz Carlton, Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles, wearing the very same clothing he has become so famous for.

The Ritz serves as Dallas’ road hotel, when 2011 NBA champs visit both the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.

At the very same time, Cuban was probably the wealthiest and most casually dressed person, standing outside the luxury property, on this balmy late October afternoon day.

As members of the Mavericks organization boarded charter buses, bound for Staples Center, Cuban spent a few minutes mixing it up with hotel guests and staff, Mavs staff and what appeared to be a group of NBA fans.

An informed bystander would have had absolutely no idea the immense stature and incredibly deep pockets of the 54-year-old, boyish looking owner.

He truly looks and acts like a regular guy.

The most impressive part of the day involved watching Cuban enter his Texas-plated, Lexus LS 600h L Hybrid (pictured above), shortly after team buses departed for downtown LA. As opposed to hopping in the back of a chauffeur-driven vehicle, the multi-billionaire elected to literally drive himself to the arena, via his own very luxurious means of transportation.

Whether it be his understated appearance, youthful approach to life, or desire to be the captain of his own ride, Mark Cuban continually proves why he is perhaps the most interesting sports owner in history.

Like him or hate him, the always controversial Cuban is most certainly a one-of-a-kind human being.
