Percy Miller? That totally doesn't sound like a rapper's name. But it actually does sound like a pretty appropriate name for a dancer or basketball player though.

Last season on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, viewers were introduced to the non-skills of rapper Lil Romeo's dad, Master P. But before he was a bad dancer, he was also a mediocre basketball player for an unknown ABA team that was so forgettable that I really did forget their name.

The man behind No Limit Records was in town to play the Fresno Heatwave (an even worse ABA team), and to promote his new single, "Them Jeans." So we invited Master P to come to the station, be the DJ for an hour, and talk about the game and his music. It was "No Limit Radio" for an afternoon.

He was a really nice guy, but I swear, at the end of every single talk break, he wanted to play "Them Jeans." And there were a lot of talk breaks. A whole lot. People tuning into the show that day must've heard that song a good eight or nine times. I'm not sure whether that helped or hurt Master P's CD sales.

Oh, and he autographed some HUGE-sized "P.Miller" brand jeans for the staff. Those suckers were enormous!

Overall, a good interview with a really personable guy. I can't, for the life of me, say who won the ABA game that night, but I'm sure it was a game nobody cared about anyway.
