I sat down with Rob Thomas in front of a live studio audience where he played 3 acoustic songs from his latest solo effort.

The one thing you recognize right off the bat is Rob's infectious nature.  He is passionate about the music.  But on this day, one of his guitars never came off the plane.  Imagine that, a celebrity with lost luggage.  So the scramble was on to find Rob a guitar for his performance.  We finally tracked some down in the 11th hour and Rob went on as scheduled.  But how did he find it?  Twitter.

Rob is into using it when on the road to find a good place to eat on the road, makes fun of people in front of him in line.  He says it gives you an outlet to be an "ass" without saying it out loud.

He was a great interview because of his passion for the music.  I feel like he is approachable and the kind of guy who could just as easily be a good guitar coach.  He would guide you through the lessons in a way that I feel like you would learn more about the instrument.  If you ever get the opportunity to pick this guys brain.  Definetly do.
