My Jersey boy
Joe Budden came to hang out with me Jersey style. You see I’m from Jersey so I
know Joe Budden and the people he hangs around. We all kind of grew up in the
same neighborhood but we just never knew each other personally.  Joe Budden came in to visit the same day my
good friend Arlene came to visit me from jersey, so we thought it was kind of
coincidental. Anywho, his friend (entourage) who came with him def wouldn’t
stop trying to ask my friend out on a date. So Joe and I got to it! Joe are you
really from Jersey? He said, well I grew up in Harlem and just started flowing
around the right people. He moved to Jersey and continued rapping. He said at
the time no rappers from Jersey had been out in a while so he decided to
represent Jersey. He did real well with his single “jump off” but ever since
has been kind of lost in the game. So we touched on how he laid low in the
studio but stayed in the mix of things, including the blogs on the internet. He
had beef with 50 cent and few other rappers in the past but Joe was so non
sealant in speaking about his past beefs. He just said hey it’s all apart of
the rap game!! He was so sarcastic with his answers so I felt like we were in
high school going tit for tat at a point in the interview. He was real
psychological about things, which leads us to talk about his album cover titled
“padded room”. It was a picture of Joe with a mussel mask on, strapped in a stray
jacket. He said it was a good way to represent who he was and how nutso in him.
Some how we got off to talking about porno and he expressed how he’d like to do
one with Halle berry because “Kim Kardasian is washed up”. Lol Of course he was
being silly the entire time. “Joe I feel like were in high school trying to
finish this interview right now”, I said. He was crazy, cool, and def on
another level but I loved every minute of it!! Cool Peeps!
