It's great to be a WWE fan in or around Central California. It seems like every few months, there's an event within a short drive away.

This provides lots of opportunites to see the Superstars in action, and even a few shots to see some wrestlers around town.

After a dynamite WWE show at Selland Arena in Fresno, Ca, one of my buddies and I met up with another one of our friends at a bar inside the lobby of a local hotel.

Before long, we started seeing some WWE Superstars walking in. Some went straight to their rooms, some just relaxed on the lobby chairs, and some decided to hang out in the bar area where we were.

After meeting a few wrestlers, suddenly former WWE Champion and UFC Champ Brock Lesnar came thumping into the hotel. He looked extremely upset, legitimately p***ed off. Apparently, the hotel security was giving Brock's family a hard time about coming into the lobby. After all, they weren't just gonna let anybody walk in. But, security didn't know exactly who was with Lesnar, so they just denied everyone. Brock was heated!

He yelled, cussed a little, and he had as red a face as I've ever seen. Then, he headed to the elevators, I assume to talk to the head of security.

Normally, I wouldn't think this would be the best time to ask an angry, muscle-bound wrestler and future MMA fighter with a ridiculously huge neck for a photo. Honestly, I don't know why I decided to approach him. I guess I figured, "Why not?"

An even bigger surprise is that he was gracious about me asking and looked in the direction of the camera while my buddy snapped away.

Pretty cool experience, even though it could have ended with me laying in bloody heap on the floor of a hotel lobby.
