My family and I just landed in Los Angeles. We were walking through the baggage area behind a normally built man, wearing a denim jacket with jeans. Suddenly, that man turned around and it was none other then the greatest hockey player of all-time. This all took place during the 1994 NHL lockout, when Gretzky was playing for the LA Kings.

Wayne could not have been nicer and more welcoming to the many fans who noticed him at the airport.  I shook his hand and watched as he signed autographs and posed for pictures with anyone who was interested.  As nice a guy as you could meet.
