In one of my other stories, I mentioned meeting one of the Road Warriors at a wrestling show in Virginia. At the same show I got to meet another one of the all time great Tag Team Wrestlers, “The Dog Faced Gremlin” Rick Steiner. He and his brother Scott was a WCW staple for many years and I was excited to meet him.

This guy was one of the all time greats, google him and see how many tag team championships he won with his brother Scott and some of his other partners. He was awesome to me as a kid.

I sometimes feel bad for the older guys in the industry. You hear the horror stories of drugs and mis management of money, but Rick did not seem to be in these categories at all. He was very friendly and we chatted a bit about what it was like to be in WCW years ago...he took a pic and I was on my way. These guys that I have met at the shows are all really cool and Rick totally belongs in that category as far as I’m concerned. There were no camera batteries that died this time around, but it was very cool to meet an all time great in a HS gym.
