Every year, former NBA player Trent Tucker, hosts a charity golf tournament in Minneapolis.  Tucker is very close friends with Michael Jordan, so it is public knowledge that Jordan usually comes to town for the event.  A few friends and I arrived at a restaurant in Eden Priarie, Minnesota, for dinner and drinks a few years back.  We walk in to see a whole gathering of people huddled near a closed off area.  We went to investigate and it turned out that the crew from Tucker’s event, most notably Michael Jordan, was seated in this protected area.  The funniest aspect of this sighting was that people were staring at Jordan and the rest of the group like they were animals in the zoo.  The group couldn’t hear the onlookers and clearly Jordan and company were not interacting back with them.  But, everyone at the restaurant simply wanted to catch a glimpse of Michael Jordan doing his thing.  Ironically, there were several members of the Vikings seated elsewhere in the restaurant, including Daunte Culpepper, who was the team’s star QB at the time.  Amazingly, no one seemed to care about the Vikings in attendance.  This night was all about Michael Jordan.
