In the 1980’s I was a huge fan of NWA wrestling. I was in the minority amongst my group of friends. I loved the Four Horseman, but one of the other big teams was the Midnight Express. There were a few different line ups in the Express, but Dennis Condry and Bobby Eaton are the first 2 I remember under this name.

I love the indy wrestling shows that have the legends at them. Call me a MARK or a fan or a nerd or whatever you want, but I love meeting the vets.  At that same show in VA, I got to meet the Midnight Express, Loverboy Dennis and Beautiful Bobby.

There were a lot of people in line to meet these two guys and I am glad to say I was towards the front. I would have waited had I had to, but luckily since I was “media” I got to go in a little early and skip the waiting. They were just two guys that were joking around with the others that had to wait and took pics and signed autographs for the fans.

After the night was done, I can easily say the Express were the coolest of all the legends I got to meet that night.
