Miguel Cabrera is the All-Star third baseman for the Detroit Tigers. Prior to this season, Cabrera played first base, before moving to third after the Tigers signing of Prince Fielder. The righty originally came up with the then Florida Marlins, but was later involved in a blockbuster trade to the Tigers (along with Dontrelle Willis), prior to the 2008 season.
Cabrera has put together a great career, appearing in seven All-Star Games, winning three silver slugger awards and slugging more than 300 homeruns.
Despite all of Cabrera's success on the field, the Venezuela-native has run into some trouble off of it, including an incident at his Birmingham, Michigan home, shortly before the Twins/Tigers 2009 one-game playoff.
In addition, during February of 2011, Cabrera was arrested in Florida for suspicion of drunk driving and resisting arrest.
Above is an iFolloSports.com original video of Cabrera, signing autographs for a large number of Twins and Tigers fans on Wednesday.
Cabrera is now the very first Tiger to hit 30 homeruns in five consecutive seasons.
