Phoenix Suns twin brother tandem of Markieff and Marcus Morris were spotted at NIKETOWN Los Angeles, on Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Per the above photo, the pair of 2011 first round draft picks took a minute to interact with iFolloSports.com contributor Reuben Benhaghnazar.
After averaging a combined 30.8 points and 15.9 rebounds per game, during their junior seasons at Kansas, the Morris twins were drafted with back-to-back selections (13th and 14th overall) by the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets respectively. The Philadelphia natives were reunited on February 21, when Marcus was dealt from Houston to Phoenix. On March 10, the Morris’ became the first siblings ever to start in the same team’s starting lineup. To date in their professional careers, Markieff has averaged 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds, while Marcus has tallied 6.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
For those keeping score, Markieff is seven minutes older and one inch taller than his ever so slightly younger brother.
