My wife and I have been coming to the Sundance Film Festival for over 10 years, we never really had a close encounter with a celebrity until that cold day in late January. Our encounter with James Franco occured during a film screening at the Raquet Club in Park City. My wife and I sat very near the front of the theater during the movie. Right before the film began we noticed Mr. Franco walked right past us and sat a couple of rows directly behind us. I must admit it felt a little strange having such a huge celebrity sit  directly behind us. After the film and the question and answer session Mr. Franco was the first one out of his seat to go down to congradulate the director and the cast (Mark Ruffalo, Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis). Before he got to the bottom of the theater we were able to intercept him in the aisle. In his hurry to get to the bottom of the theater he nearly ran me over. We were able to snap this great picture of him (no zoom required) and tell him we enjoyed his work. He flashed his handsome smile and his date giggled at our awkwardness. While our encounter was brief, we were able to snap a great picture and was one of the highlights of our Sundance experiance.
