Vegas.

What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas.  This was supposed to stay there.  But my one night "in" Paris only included the casino which bears the same name.  My night w/ Paris.  Well that's a different story.

Paris Hilton comes off sweet and nieve on television.  If you remember "The Simple Life" in which she and bff Nicole Richie were rich girls who never had to work a day in their life and were confronted w/ working on a farm & other everyday tasks.  But in person, Paris came off as snobby and fake.

While most people aren't sure why Paris is famous, I'll tell you how we know the name.  Maybe it's that TV show, or the green video in which she starred w/ former b/f Rick Soloman bearing the name "1 Night in Paris"in 2003.  I met her at the Radio Music Awards in '04.

It was media day.  One in which we are in a room w/ many other radio outlets and artists are moved table to table w/the goal of promotion of their major projects in mind for them and for the radio station, attempting to put the bigest stars on the air.  I had Paris on my show in Cleveland at the time and while she was flirty and even borderline sweet on the air rockin' her catch phrase "that's hot" during the interview.  I was to meet her again at a "VIP" night w/ Paris event later that night.

During this "Paris" party which was celebrating the pre-release of her release of "Paris Hilton" cd.  Do you think ANYONE was shocked she was late to her own event.  To boot, to "meet Paris" the radio folks who were "invited" to this party were subjected to stand in line like a cattle call just to have our photo w/ Ms. Hilton.

All of that would've been ok, if she had been happier to be there, or even faked it.  Instead she seemed generally disinterested in promoting her newest project and is one of the only times where I've met a celebrity & couldn't wait to get it over with...

Dear Paris,

I wanted to give you a chance & like you.  However, It's not me it's you. 

For the first time in your life, you seemed more interested in the clothes your dog had on then your lack of clothes in "1 Night In Paris."
