As a kid growing up in NYC, my fondest memories were going to Ebbets Field to see my favorite team, the Brooklyn Dodgers. My two biggest heroes were Jackie Robinson and Duke Snider. Years later, they both became clients with my company www.celebrityspeakersentertainment.com. I booked Jackie Robinson and Duke Snider for many corporate engagements. My favorite one was in Los Angeles.

Bank of America booked both Jackie and Duke for the same event. It was an annual corporate gathering of their top executives. This photo was taken at the Emmy Award winning TV show: Sports Challenge. Dick Enberg hosted the program.

In the photo is Jackie Robinson, Dan Merrin (my dad) and Bruce Merrin. That day, I picked up Jackie Robinson at LAX (the airport). I had dinner with Jackie Robinson and his wife that evening at the famous Brown Derby restaurant.
