And most of them were followed by screams from adoring fans in the 1990's as the New Kids On The Block emerged with a different type of boy band.

Joey McIntyre, the youngest of the New Kids On The Block took off in magnanimous directions launching into his own solo career.  I met up with Joey while he toured with his album "Stay The Same."

Doing interviews from such a young age and not only being a 'New Kid' but performing on Broadway & on the silver screen, Joey is a natural with being laid back in the interview setting.  He is also super nice to his fans.  We hung around in the meet n greet before doing a one on one interview and you find that Joey takes a massive amount of time with his fans.  While some artists will only snap group photos, or just sign one autograph per person...Joey makes it a point to stand there until everyone is satisfied with their experience.  With Joey, the fans come first.

I was surprised with a guy doing all that he has done post-NKOTB that he still embraces the fanbase from those times.  He was a good guy and as much as my friends made fun of me for being in a Joey McIntyre meet n greet, I came out saying...you wouldn't believe what a good guy he really is.
