I think a lot of "radio people" have fallen victim to being jaded by celebrities. At least, I know I have. It's amazing how much we take for granted the opportunity to meet artists. But, I've almost never been star struck with rappers or singers.

WWE Superstars, on the other hand, are an entirely different story. There is just something amazing about meeting these men and women who are larger-than-life on TV. It's amazing because these athletes really ARE larger-than-life when you see them in person.

There are a handful of interviews that made me really nervous before I did them. And I was definitely gonna be nervous to interview Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The WWE Hall of Famer was going to be in San Francisco doing a series of interviews with media outlets promoting his movie, The Condemned (which, by the way, was a better movie than most critics thought).

So, I travelled to the Bay and ended up being the last interview scheduled for the day, which was cool because it meant I'd get the most time with him.

From the second I entered the room, Stone Cold Steve Austin was a class act. He stood up, shook my hand and we just started to talk about wrestling before the interview had even officially started. He was impressed that I knew his wrestling history, and that I saw his movie earlier in the week.

After a long and amazing interview, we took a couple photos, and walked out of the room. He said he was gonna crack open a couple "Steve-weisers" , told me he enjoyed talking with me, and called it a day.

A fantastic interview with a really honest and gracious guy.
