It was an early afternoon on another thrilling day of my first concert experience in Lansing, Michigan. The weather was great. I was helping the afternoon personality with his live broadcast on the bridge that was deemed the media area. Things were pretty quiet. Fans were'nt allowed in yet, so you mostly saw just workers, stage hands, respectable media people, and freaks like me.

It was an unusual and traumatic day for me as I had absorbed a huge breakfast and, what must've been about 13 gallons of strong black coffee. Everything was going smooth until...right before lunchtime, the coffee had worked it's way through my gutty works and created an emergency situation.

Now, let me start off by saying that it was incredibly hot that day, and I am not a huge fan of the port-a-potty...especially one that was in day 3 of it's work week. It was a nightmare in there, and while I will spare you the details that I probably wouldn't spare you if we were face to face; the inside of this hellish sewage box made me feel like I was doing a tour in some hot jungle war!

In the end everything worked out, and upon my release from my blue prison. There was a man in the distance jogging towards the bridge. As he got closer I realized that he wasn't just another health-crazed midwesterner(oxymoron). It was Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach. He ran right passed my co-worker and me, smiled and waved. He looked like a happy guy, which I probably could have changed by telling him about what just transpired with my digestive system!!
