Giants outfielder Pat Burrell’s world championship offseason has included a contract renewal with his hometown team from Northern California and the discovery of nearly inconclusive evidence that Burrell’s ultra ego is indeed the now infamous “Machine.” Burrell slumped in the 2010 postseason, but his comedic presence appeared to compliment this Giants team of castoffs and characters quite well. Prior to Tuesday’s game in Scottsdale, Burrell stood in front of the Giants dugout, catching and signing baseballs for the large contingent of SF fans, as seen on this ifollosports.com original video clip.  Burrell has found himself in the best situation of his career and he appears to be enjoying every minute of it.
